Five I.C. Stars teams recently competed in the New Years Quest For Excellence in Greensboro NC. 

I.C. Stars 13's started off the year on a positive note winning the 13 year old division! 

I.C. Stars 15's followed them up with a Championship of their own, as they swept through the competition undefeated!  

I.C. Stars 16-1's swept through their competition as well, before losing a hard fought semifinal match 25-20, 25-27, 16-18 to the eventual champions, settling for a 3rd place finish. 

I.C. Stars 16-2's made a strong showing as they went 6-0 heading into the playoffs, but would eventually have to settle for a 5th place finish after falling in a competitive 20-25, 26-28  quarterfinal match. 

I.C. Stars 18's got off to a great start on Saturday going undefeated in their first 5 matches, but loss two close 3 set matches on Sunday before falling in their semifinal match 16-25, 25-21, 18-16.
